Certification of your cabling system to insure Category 5e, 6 & 6a compliance is the a critical component of a sound cabling system. This is especially true if you’ve moved into a new office with existing cables installed. Our testing procedures will verify the integrity of the cabling and confirm proper labeling throughout the system.

Lawrence Cable Services uses Industry leading equipment, WaveTek & Fluke, to test any low voltage copper or fiber optics cabling systems to verify they conform to industry standards. This equipment is far more complex than a simple continuity test that most other low budget cable installers provide, but a sophisticated test that actually measures the speed of data passing over the network lines.

• Performance certify and troubleshoot all LAN hardware and cabling.

• Open, shorts, split pairs, splits distance
• NEXT, FEXT (Near/Far end cross talk)
• Attenuation, Hot splits
• Test existing cables for higher speeds
• Spot faulty wiring closet jumpers, connectors & faulty terminations
• Identify excessively noisy cables
• Verify cable installations done by electricians
• Identify network bottlenecks caused by slow running links

Fiber Optics cable testing

Have your fiber optics cable installation tested to light speeds. Lawrence Cable Services will test your fiber optics for loss attenuation, breaks and other fault tests with our state of the art fiber testing equipment. We can let you know if your fiber install was properly done and also install or repair your fiber cables if required.
